Getting to Hotel
Easy enough as long as you have motorized transport since the public bus system is not friendly to tourists or anyone who does not already know their complex routes and schedules.
If coming from JB Sentral / CIQ (Singapore Border): Most efficient way would be to catch a Grab car from the designated pick up point at JB Sentral or City Square. Ride to Permas Jaya uses EDL (Eastern Dispersal Link) highway, takes about 15-20 minutes in smooth traffic and costs between 15-25 MYR most times of day except during peak Friday evening traffic when this area near bridge gets congested all other times.
From Senai International Airport: About 35-45 minutes away. Ignore buses, take Grab or airport taxi directly. The route is mainly highway-aided and smooth.
By Car: If you are driving your own car, "Pasir Gudang Highway" or the "EDL" easily leads to Permas Jaya. It sits within a row of 3-story shophouses. Its signage is black and gold which sometimes blends in at night so keep your GPS on.
Public Transport: There are buses (Causeway Link) passing through Permas Jaya but most stops are unmarked with very low frequency. Getting this hotel by bus for tourists shall not be recommended.
